St. Michael’s School Murals

A multi-campus community art partnership with St. Michael’s Episcopal School spanning two permanent Love Murals, student wellness programming, and branded collateral designed to extend the project’s message beyond the installations.

Community Partnership & Public Art Initiative

Objective

Create a lasting visual legacy for the St. Michael’s community through two permanent Love Murals, using public art to foster kindness, connection, and belonging across both campuses.

Project Overview

The St. Michael’s Episcopal School Class of 2025 eighth graders donated two Love Murals to campus—one in the Lower School and one in the Middle School. These installations serve as a lasting legacy, fostering a sense of belonging and connection for every student, faculty member, and visitor who walks through St. Michael’s.

Continued Community Impact

Following the murals’ installation, the project continued to expand within the St. Michael’s community. LovEvolve was invited back to campus to participate in the Middle School’s Wellness Day, where founder Sunny Stack Goode led a conversation centered on self-love, resilience, and community using a presentation I created.

To further extend the impact of the project, I designed a custom, mural-inspired sticker distributed to all Middle School students and faculty. This activation reinforced the murals’ presence beyond the physical space, creating a tangible reminder of the message and strengthening ongoing engagement with the school.

Maybeury Elementary School Love Mural

A community partnership transforming student fundraising into a collaborative mural and lasting installation designed to bring LovEvolve’s message of connection into the school environment.

Community Partnership & Public Art Initiative

Objective

Introduce the LovEvolve Love Mural as a community fundraising initiative and create a lasting visual symbol of kindness and connection within the school environment.

Project Overview

Through a personal connection within the school community, I introduced the LovEvolve Love Mural as a potential fundraising initiative for Maybeury Elementary School. The fifth-grade class ultimately raised the funds to donate the mural to the school as a class gift.

I worked closely with parent organization and school contacts throughout the planning process, helping coordinate communication, scheduling, and brand implementation. This included curating the correct Pantone color specifications to ensure the mural reflected LovEvolve’s visual identity.

I documented the mural’s progression through photography and video, helping share the story and celebrate the students’ efforts in bringing the mural to life.

Continued Community Impact

Following the mural’s installation, the project continued to grow within the school community. The mural was selected as the Maybeury Elementary yearbook cover, reinforcing its role as a symbol of the school’s culture and the fifth grade class’s contribution.

The school has also continued collaborating with LovEvolve through additional fundraising initiatives. I worked with the LovEvolve design team to develop mural-inspired stickers, which the school will sell at an upcoming fundraiser to support a gift from the current fifth-grade class.
